October brings a plethora of fun things that we all love, but we are definitely most excited for Halloween! Halloween is such a fun holiday to spend time with your loves ones, enjoy sweet treats, and dress up as something fabulous. It is that time again to start figuring out what you are going to dress up as! If you are not sure, or you do not want to spend a bunch of money, there are tons of ways to be festive by just using makeup. The great thing about this is that you probably already have most of the tools to achieve elaborate looks!

One way to make an easy, elaborate look is to use a colored eyeliner and colored hairspray. Start by applying a thick lining on your eye with a dramatic wing on the end. This is a dramatic look that really makes your eyes pop. Along with the colored liner, you could also temporarily color your hair to match. Temporary tinted hair spray is sold everywhere around halloween, so it will not be hard to track down! The combination of exaggerated makeup and colored hair makes for a simple, but festive halloween look.

Another vibrant look you could try is a bright colored cat eye look. Using a neon color eyeshadow or liner, make a thick cat eye on both eyes. Outline the vibrant eye color with a thin black eyeliner to really make it a dramatic look. This elaborate eye makeup will account for dressing up all on its own! If you do not have time to go out and get vibrant eye makeup, you can simply use black form your makeup bag to cover your entire eyelid with solid black eyeliner or eyeshadow. This is a very versatile look that can be worn with a simple halloween outfit or an elaborate look as well.

Spice up halloween makeup by doing vibrant colors on multiple areas of your face. Making your eyelids, eyebrows, blush, and lips all vibrant colors produce an eccentric halloween look. Using this wide variety of hues allows for you to wear anything with it, without it clashing. It’s win, win!  Another elaborate look consists of lots of highlighter and neon brows. You read correctly! All you really need for an eye catching halloween look is blush or highlighter. Using a bright pink blush or any kind of vibrant highlighter will be such an easy look! All you have to do is apply quite a bit of the hue to the area you usually highlight. So, really go over the top of your cheekbone, and around to the eyebrow. This makes for a very bright look, you can add to it by filling in your eyebrows with another bright shade! 

If you are not crazy about using vibrant tones, you could try using darker halloween colors for your costume makeup! Maybe using a dark purple, or orange or even red will be just enough color! This makeup look does not need to be paired with any kind of costume, it is so festive on its own! Start by using a colored eyeliner and drawing oversized oval shapes around eat eye. Once you have completed this, take the same color and draw vertical lines from the ovals away from your eyes. Adding a few of these lines give you sp

a bit partial to this one! Adding jewels to your look can instantly make you look halloween-ready. You can really place the jewels anywhere, but putting them under your eyes or above your eyebrow really brings out your eyes and compliments your whole look!
