Those CMA Red Carpet Trends

Once again the country music who’s who took to the red carpet for the 51st Annual CMA Awards in Nashville.  As always the fashion was trendsetting!  Deep hues were a fashion must this year with royal, red and black making the intricate simplistic design take center stage.

CMA Carrie UnderwoodCMA Kimberly SchlapmanTwo of our favorite looks were Carrie Underwood (as always, she is such a fashionista) and Danielle Bradbery.  The design elements came in the fabric construction and combination.  With Carrie the rich royal and those flutter ruffles made her mermaid an instant head turner.  Danielle showed off how two totally opposite fabrics can come together to make one stop and say “wow!”  Add a touch of the classic regal fabric velvet from Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman and the elegant timeless looks are complete.  We could so see you on your personal prom 2018 red carpet in one of these gowns.

CMA Kelsea BalleriniCMA Miranda LambertBut embellishment was promenade also with the beautiful Kelsea Ballerini and the always watched on the red carpet country girl Miranda Lambert adding some sparkle to their night.  Two different looks were the style of these amazing women.  Kelsea chose a white gold dress that may be seen as conservative with it’s long sleeves and skirt but at second glance the bodice keyhole adds a youthful factor and trend to this gorgeous dress.  With Miranda she went opposite wearing a fairytale a-line ball gown.  The deep halter plunge was covered with a sheer scoop neckline allowing the outer layer of tulle to be embellished with multiple firework beading.  Finish with understated jewelry and a metallic belt and you have the latest princess of the red carpet.
