Big Stars and Big Fashion at ACCAs

The American Country CountdACCA Thomas Rhettown Awards, or the ACCAs, is one of the biggest nights for country music and its stars. The award show aired live on May first from the Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles. This was the first time in ten years that a country music award show took place live in Los Angeles. The lineup for the show was definitely star studded; the biggest names in the industry took the stage and gave phenomenal performances. Although many watch the ACCAs to see who wins what or to see the performances, the most important aspect that goes into such an iconic show is the attire worn by the guests. They make their grand entrances on the Red Carpet with show-stopping looks that set the mood for the whole evening. After the Red Carpet, the performers have different looks that capture the essence of their music and personal style. The choice of performance wear varies greatly depending on the artist. For instance, Thomas Rhett wore a suit on the Red Carpet and then changed into a t-shirt for his set. Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood rocked a floor length gown on the carpet, but then changed into a sassy, short, gold look for her performance. The ACCAs are a safe haven of personal taste; the stars wore attire that was true to themselves as well as their music. The show brings a taste of high fashion to the table that is unique to other Red Carpet events, while maintaining the true style of country music.
