Happy 4th of July, lovelies! We are right in the middle of summer and ready to celebrate with sparklers, a big barbeque, and a fireworks show!! If you are looking for the best way to spend your fourth, we have some ideas to make sure you have the best summer bash ever!

The lake is at the top of our list for sure! With this heatwave, nothing would be more relaxing than spending the day cruising in the boat or floating in the waves. Grab some friends, some snacks, a few floats and you’re good to go! Just be sure to rock a red, white, and blue swimsuit!!

If you are desperate to see a good fireworks show, this one’s for you! A lot of neighborhoods forbid fireworks shows for obvious reasons, but don’t let that stop you. Jump on the internet and search for a fireworks display near you. You’re guaranteed to find a couple of public fireworks shows that will likely involve food vendors or a concert. SO much fun!

If you are wanting to capitalize on the day off work (let’s be honest, everyone needs to rest sometimes), invite some friends over for a barbeque! Grill out burgers, whip up some patriotic colored desserts, and play corn hole until the sun goes down. It will be a relaxing night in while still taking part of the Fourth festivities! This doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the fireworks all together; pick up a couple boxes of sparklers to use when the sun goes down!
