Award shows and red carpet events are the absolute best places to spot the latest fashion trends. These shows are where all of our favorite icons can showcase their personal style and great fashion sense. The latest buzz is all about the ACM awards. The Academy of Country Music Awards just took place in Las Vegas, Nevada; the country music world was out in full force, as well as other celebrities.

We were so excited to see who wore what to this huge star studded country music event, and the stars definitely did not disappoint anyone! Carrie Underwood is always taking over the red carpet entrance; this year was definitely no different. Carrie hit the pink and grey carpet in a sparkling sheer dress that accentuated her gorgeous figure. Her dress was complete with a thick, jeweled over the top choker. Carrie’s dress showcased tons of popular trends for this current prom season. Chokers are a huge hit, as well as the intricate bead work that covers the gown but do not forget that wrap skirt trend that can give you both the allure of a ball gown and a straight silhouette. These trends are all the rage and Carrie Underwood absolutely rocked the red carpet in them!

Another stand-out-star was seen wearing one of our favorite prom and pageant designers. Can you guess who it is? I will give you a hint, she is Miss America! Reigning Miss America, Savvy Shields, stole the show in her stunning Sherri Hill gown. The metallic show stopping look has everyone buzzing; Savvy Shields was shining like a diamond all down the red carpet! Sherri Hill designed this dress for a fashionista and Miss America was definitely a perfect fit! This fully sequined and bead embellished dress complemented her fabulous figure, and really made her glow. Once again, a Sherri Hill dress steals the show! We absolutely love this look and we are certain that it will inspire many prom looks in the near future.

Another one of our favorite prom and social occasion dress designers made a splash on the red carpet. Country newcomer, Carly Pearce, stunned the red carpet in her black Faviana gown. This off-the-shoulder dress is embellished with lace, and was so elegant on this gorgeous singer! This dress is featured in Faviana’s prom line as style S7937. This jersey dress accents Carly’s great figure, while exposing a little bit of leg with the high slit. Needless to say this Faviana dress is just one of their fabulous styles for 2017!

Sherri Hill strikes again as country music up and coming Lindsay Ell is also in the mix of the ACM’s best dressed stars. It has been said that the oh so gorgeous Miss Lindsay is the next country music icon. She is the ultimate package when it comes to the music industry; singer, songwriter, and guitarist is hard to beat! Lindsay Ell strutted down the red carpet in one of our favorite Sherri styles. This beaded column dress is Sherri Hill’s style 51245. This sleek black dress was perfect for the show, and the bead work gave her the perfect amount of sparkle!

Jessie James Decker also blew us away on the red carpet in her nude bodysuit. There has been tons of stars straying away from gowns and going for these trendy body suits with a thin overlay. Country singer, Jessie James Decker has been the topic of conversation after she arrived at the ACMs in her fabulous nude bodysuit. This sequin embellished look was perfect on Decker as she made her way down the carpet. This new bodysuit with overlay trend is growing quickly. We have already seen it start to blossom with the shorts with overlays. Big trends like this are fast approaching!
