Knockoff's and Sherri Hill
If you want to knock off a dress, think twice about copying Sherri Hill. According to a press release from the company’s lawyer, they have filed a federal lawsuit against another LA-based wholesaler who is allegedly copying
numerous distinctive and copyrighted bead and embroidery designs owned by Sherri Hill, and that employees were describing them as Sherri Hill designs.
This will be the second such case filed by Sherri Hill. In the first case, the knock-off company was forced to stop manufacturing these “copies.” Stay tuned for more info. Oh and full disclosure, Sherri Hill is part of the IPA and is featured on this site.
