Oh, the CMA’s!  You did not miss the Country Music Awards last night did you?  I know your not a country music fan but who cares the fashion alone was enough to be watching!  Being the 50th Anniversary of the award show gave the best in the country music genre just enough reason to show off even more how trendy and loved this musical style has and is becoming.

Let’s just say when the stars hit the red carpet we began to see all those fashion forward trends that are apart of the prom 2017 dress collections.  So, where should we begin?  The prints, the lace, the sequins, the sheer, the metallic…we could go on and on.

The florals were deep rich hues that stood out no matter the design, the key to them though stay playful while still being sophisticated.  That lace whether contrasting or subdued gave a vintage elegant feel to the designs.  Putting sheer and beading together said give me the bling factor that is thought of when the words red carpet arrival are mentioned.  And let us just say the “sparkle” did light up the night.  Finally, we have to mention the classic styling of the a-line ballgown that graced the carpet and made all heads turn. (Yes, Carrie slayed it once again!)

The CMA Awards brought in an eclectic group of attendees but more important an eclectic group of fashion that will shape the feel of formal evening gowns over the next few years.  So, take interest in Country Music it is more than just music it is upcoming formal fashion must haves.
