In this collection we are exposed to dark colors such as black or navy; you would think that there was not much to do with such colors but Panoply proves us all wrong! The incorporation of sequins, beads, and lots of intricate lace, will make these dark colors shine for every special event.  Usually, a designer will use lots of beading or lace but Panoply has found the perfect balance in using both at once.  Now you don’t have to choose between sparkles and lace, how great is that?!

Panoply is always introducing new trends and different styles that are not what we typically see for proms and formals. This year, their focus is on capes. Yes, we said capes!  As unusual as it may sound, these capes add a little extra flare to your formal look.  Chiffon capes lay right over the shoulders and drape elegantly down to the floor.  Chiffon always create a very dramatic look to an outfit and will make photos extremely fierce!  In addition, there are also tulle capes that are equally as elegant as the chiffon, the tulle is often embellished with lace and beading to match that of the dress. Are trends from decades past, back?  Well, Panoply has brought bell sleeves into the fold.  This is something we have seen few and far between.  These sleeves are lace and pretty formfitting to the arm until you reach a little bit above the elbow.  At this point, the sleeve widens to make a bell-like shape.  Sleeves in general on formal gowns are very popular, so wear bell sleeves instead of normal sleeves and set the growing trend into action!
