We know what it means when they roll out the Red Carpet, a fashion revolution is about to begin! The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards was definitely a night we will all remember. While most of the time stars arrive in vibrant, sparkly, and unique outfits, this night was a little different. The celebrity guests and nominees strutted across the Red Carpet in black this year to make a strong statement. A wave of black gowns and tuxedos graced the Red Carpet in support of the Time’s Up initiative. This initiative was founded by some of the most accomplished women in the industry and the other celebs joined their forces to make a strong, united statement.

While most were wearing black at the award show, the stars did not leave their fashionista spirit at home. The styles and gowns we saw on the Red Carpet were some of the most fabulous looks we have ever seen! All of our favorite styles such as: mermaids, high-lows, long sleeves, sleek fitted looks, and ball gowns were exquisite on the stars. We are truly amazed, but totally not surprised that the celebs killed the game in these black gowns. Each woman showed off her personal taste while still supporting the cause at hand.

One of our favorite looks from the evening was Reese Witherspoon’s stunning mermaid. This simple black mermaid has a simple one shoulder strap, but the whole look was so sophisticated and just fabulous! Another fav was Kerry Washington’s shimmering gown with a high slit. She totally rocked this look, Olivia Pope (one of Kerry’s characters) would be proud!

We saw some of our favorite designers also make their grand entrance on the carpet. Sherri Hill and Jovani were both worn to the monumental show and they did not disappoint! Chrishell Hartley slayed the Red Carpet in her sleek Jovani gown. This velvet piece was total perfection for the Golden Globes! Another Red Carpet stunner was Giuliana Rancic. E! News host, and Red Carpet regular, Giuliana Rancic always looks exquisite! Her black Sherri Hill gown graced the carpet gorgeously. The criss cross bodice and fitted skirt were entirely adorned with beadwork and sequins to keep this star shining all night long!

Red Carpet events and award shows are definitely one of our favorite things to watch. The fashion is always on point and we are always blown away with all of the newest trends. The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards was definitely an evening for the books!
